About — Castlevania: Belmont's Curse Guide

Castlevania: Belmont's Curse Guide is an independent, unofficial guide site for Castlevania: Belmont's Curse — the action game Evil Empire (the studio behind Dead Cells and the Return to Castlevania DLC) is building in partnership with Konami. This is a fan project. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Konami, Evil Empire or any other rights holder, and we do not run reader accounts, sell anything, or follow you around the wider web.

The game is still in its pre-release phase, with a playable demo already out. That demo is where this site starts: the pages here cover what you can actually reach right now — walkthrough steps for the areas in the demo, strategies for the encounters it contains, where items sit, and notes on the systems it exposes. As more of the game becomes playable, that coverage grows.

How we work

Every guide here is written from direct play of the exact build it describes, and re-checked against the publisher’s own public material — official announcements, the game’s official site and its official channels — before it goes live. Where those two sources disagree, the page says so instead of quietly picking whichever answer is more convenient.

The rule we hold ourselves to is simple: nothing gets published that we cannot verify. If a mechanic, item, drop rate, boss behaviour or ending has not been confirmed by the publisher or observed firsthand, it stays off this site — no invented numbers, no speculative dates, and no content carried over from earlier Castlevania games presented as though it were confirmed for this one. A shorter page that is true is worth more to you than a longer one that guesses.

A pre-release game changes under you, so every page records the build it was written against and gets revisited when the game updates. If something on a page no longer matches your build, tell us and we will fix it or take it down.
